EPSCA Results over 5 yearsThe chart displays the performance of the Kent Under 11 Girls county teams over the past 5 years. There has been a steady improvement in performance, reflecting the dedication from juniors, parents, team managers, schools and our chief coach over the past few years. The maximum possible score for Under 11 girls teams is 36 (12 points per round; over 3 rounds). Qualification CriteriaMembership of the National Chess Junior Squad (NCJS) OR qualification for the England Under 11 Trial. In the absence of either of these, A) 2 half Kent norms (HKN) OR 1 full Kent norm (FKN) in KJCA Grand Prix tournaments or in England Under 11 Trial qualifying tournaments AND B) attendance on 2 coaching days (CD) of an open KJCA coaching course (or ECF equivalent, not online) in the 2010-2011 season OR a pass (not online) at Level 2. Team SelectionIf 16 players or more achieve the above qualification criteria, the team will be selected exclusively from those qualified. The only exception to this is where a player is unable to achieve the qualification criteria SOLELY because of absence for medical reasons or through attending her first ever KJCA event too late to manage this in which case the player may exceptionally be added to the Squad subject to ratification by senior KJCA personnel. If less than 16 players achieve the above qualification criteria, the Team Manager may complete the team from partially qualified or unqualified players after selecting all those who are fully qualified. CandidatesThe table below shows those who have achieved full or partial qualification to date.
